This morning, I went over to Kerry's to take some photos of some old newspapers (and clean up the images in Photoshop so they wouldn't look like they'd been yellowing with age for ten years) for a Court TV story that was running later in the afternoon.

Later, when we watched the program, Catherine Crier Live (on which they got the name of Kerry's book wrong, d'oh), I got a fun surprise.

I don't really have anything profound to offer. I just thought it was random and cool.

Too cool!

Is it really fair that you get to be a famous author AND a famous photographer too? Just kidding!

Oh my gosh! I saw this last night when I was flipping channels. Funny thing was, I said "I know that guy!" Of course, I really don't know you... but I was happy for you all the same.

A book deal, big Hollywood photo dude mingling with the stars, now national television--what's next? And all this just because of that sassy sweetie Schulyer!!! Seems like 2007 is rockin' right along for the Rum-Hud family!! So happy for all of you!

And to think...we knew you when...well in a manner of speaking...you know what I mean...what Lola said above really...

(aside) The pics you took in LA popped up on my flickr yesterday...and all I could think was...How pointy is Robin Williams' chin?

Dude. That's SO cool. I wish we could have caught up when you were here in SoCal — looks (and sounds) like you had a great time. I'm glad your experience here was so positive. People from LA/OC get such a bad rap much of the time for being shallow — and shows like "The OC" and "The Real Desperate Housewives of OC" don't do much to help that image. But I love living here and find the people are actually quite awesome and inspiring.

How long will it be before our Rob is writing for a TV series?

Not long I suspect.

That really is quite neat! Congrats on another success, Rob.

Also - I got a little thrill last Thursday night. I was channel surfing and came across Tavis Smiley - and without hearing a word or seeing a caption, I totally recognized Kerry from the pictures you posted. Silly thing to get excited about, but whatever!
