Leaving on a jet plane...

Fall colors are here early.

Either way, Homeland Security is going to stop her in the airport for sure now. She's the world's shortest anarchist.

Update: They got there okay. I'm going to start breathing again, if that's okay with you.

She looks so much older in that photo you've posted. I can't help but wonder, when she looks like that, what she'll be like as a teenager. Hopefully the BBoW doesn't cause too much of a kerfluffle at the airport!

When you compare that photo to the one on the right - she looks so grown up and different! I don't know Schuyler, but somehow her growing up makes me happy and sad at the same time. Being a parent must mean being heartbroken all the time.

I too noticed how much older Schuyler looking these days, even compared to pics taken as recently as April! I guess she hit a growth spurt? Man, I'm just getting used to how fast my own kid is growing up - or at least I'm getting used to being surprised by it, if that makes any sense - now I'm seeing the same phenomenon in other people's kids. Time passes? Who knew?

You must tell us what brand and color of dye it is. For your readers whose thirtieth birthdays are rapidly approaching & who have therefore decided to do something drastic in response :D

It looks great!

the fabulousness police are going to stop her and say 'honey! you are TOO fabulous for this airport! please get on this private jet to protect the lame masses from your outright awesomeness. and your truly fab mom can come too.'

if you were with them, i bet the fabulousness police MIGHT allow you to accompany.

best of travels to julie and schuyler. And to you -- enjoy your time photographing wonderful things.

I am SO dying my hair the exact same color. Schuyler is a mega trend-setter. Try to have some fun on your trip! :)

(But stay away from the titty bars!) haha.

I love her hair! How can such a youngin' look so hip?! Glad they arrived safe and sound.

I would like to echo anonymous's question. For some reason, I've had this strange temptation to add a streak of color to my hair, but sadly it needs to be gone or nearly so by the end of August when I have to go back to teaching in the land of people who have nothing better to do than to criticize my fashion choices.

So: What product do I need to buy to get the Streak in Honor of Schuyler going?
