This is the same little girl about whom some therapists and teachers in her previous schools gently suggested that mainstreaming might not even be possible.

Well, everyone likes being right sometimes. Where Schuyler is concerned, every time we're proven right for believing she was capable of doing great things if only given the right educational tools and setting, I feel ten feet tall.
No, twenty.

I hope she feels pretty tall, too. :D
GO, SCHUYLER!
Prove the doubters wrong. God Bless everyone on "Team Schuyler". Congraatulations.

Way to go, Schuyler!
AWESOME!!!!!!
Rob, I'm so happy for you guys. :-) I don't check in that often, but this is great news!
That's really cool. You always knew that Schuyler would do amazingly well and she's proven that again with her test scores. In your face, statisticians!
That's awesome! Being 20 feet tall is the best feeling in the world when it's related to the accomplishments of your child.
Congrats! That's fantastic. Enjoy it you guys.
Fuckin' awesome. That's better than most neurotypical kids ;)I believe a trip to the Purple Cow is in order.
I think the teacher left out one course:

Most of us liked your kid (or loved her) bunches before this post - but now... Well, that's just the best news I've heard this week. AWESOME!!!
Go Schuyler! You're a rock star!!!
Definitely hot-fudge-sundae worthy!!!
Such a wonderful accomplishment for Schuyler —for all of you! Congratulations! (Deosn't it make dressing up as a giant chicken a little more palatable?)
I don't know if you realize the effect that you have on parents of other broken children when you write posts like this. You made my day. Thank you for that. This gives me hope for my little boy.
I propose you send copies to all those teachers and therapists who doubted her abilities.
In triplicate.
Great job, Schuyler!!!
Rock on Schuyler!!
Kristin
Yeah! Good for her, and good for you for all your advocacy.
Schuyler's report is terrific. She gives us such hope.
Right On!!!!!
awesome!
Way to go Schuyler!
That's fantastic and inspiring. I especially like the use of the word "satisfactory" -- so school-like.
It does not surprise me that a child who would choose a chicken suit for her father's costume would be one smart lady. A sense of humor is the clearest sign of brilliance in my book.

That is the best thing I've heard all week. Go Schuyler!
That is awesome. Congratulations, Schuyler.
Hi there,
I've been a bit of a closet reader thus far, but I wanted to step in here and congratulate you AND Schuyler for the awesome success! You must be so proud of her and I hope she's equally proud of herself. Obviously, others are seeing how bright she is, too. Yay!
Congrats to you both!
Just think what she could accomplish if she'd only stop giggling! :D
Seriously, way to go, Schuyler--and parents!
SUCH fantastic news. I'm so glad to read this.
Super!
Thats fantastic! Im curious though, how do they judge reading with her?
Go Schuyler! Yay!
Way to go!!! Can you photo copy that and send it to the old school district? I just finished reading your book for the 2nd time, and the two parts that anger me the most is the old school district, and the old lady and the grocery store...I think about what my husbands reaction would have been in that store, and he wouldn't have been so kind! Schuyler is a star in our eyes!
I agree caitlyn, I would send those grades down south ASAP. Way to go Schuyler!
I guess living in conservative land is worth it.
Not once have I ever had an 86 in Math. Schuyler, you rock.
yay, Yay, YAY...THRILLING!!!
Yay Schuyler! You continue to rock that out.
Ha!
Schuyler can't even speak and already she is kicking your ass scholastically.
Pretty good job of parenting from a lackey and his unbelievably good looking and hard working wife.
P.S.
Saw an interview back here in CT the other day centered around a disability walk where the woman interviewed started off the the interview by saying, " Yes, Sonia, we have been blessed with special needs child".
I immediately went to read a book, knowing that more than likely this woman would have nothing of substance to convey.
Awesome!
Hooray! Go SCHUYLER! Wooohooo!
How wonderful :)
Kick ass!
Congrats on a job well done Schuyler! We are very proud of you.

PS: That pic of you is GORGEOUS!
She's doing better than 50% of my first-year college students! Congrats to your girl, and to you!
Woo hoo!!!!
You go, Schuyler! Great job!
UMMM - GO SCHUYLER!!!!!!!!!!! You should send a copy of her report card to all the suckers who tried to put her in the "can't" box years ago. CONGRATS SCHUYLER!!!
And BTW - LOVE the glasses...
Schuyler ROCKS!!!
RAWR!!!!!
What the CRAP? the lowest A- at my school was a 93!!! HMPH. No wonder I have perfection issues.
A big congrats to Miss Schuyler. That's fantastic news. Neener neener!!
How's Schuyler? my 9 year old asked. So i told her that Schuyler got her school report and said that she got a B+.
My daughter's eyes lit up and she had a massive smile on her face. "That's BLOODY great!!" was her reply.

I'm so pleased to see her Math grade. Imagine Schuyler designing buildings!
