Speaking of conferences & things, I recently signed up for the International Society for AAC (ISAAC) convention, which is being held in the U.S. this year. It's in Pittsburgh in early August. There's a camp for kids as well as a number of presentations for users, families, researchers, therapists... anyone who's interested.
Here's the website for the conference: http://isaac2012.org/index.php
And the camp: http://isaac2012.org/acccamp.php
I don't know if registry for the camp is still open, but I'd be among the first in line to donate to give Schuyler the opportunity to go and meet some friends who communicate the way she does.
Just a bit of warning - since this blog is out there for the whole World Wide Web to see, you might want to edit that picture unless you want the whole World Wide Web to be able to call you.
Over the summer, after I wrote something people didn't like, I got a bunch of crank calls almost immediately. Apparently my number's already out there. Call away, cranks.
