I've never actually watched Star Trek, but I can appreciate this on a level of awesome. My boyfriend likes Star Trek, so I can't wait to share this with him.
(I've been dying to see Robot Chicken's Star Wars, I'm hoping to find it on youtube shortly)
Julie finds my love of opera to be inexplicable. And she finds my love of The Wrath of Khan to be equally puzzling, especially considering my distaste for Star Trek in general. So this clip addresses two of her "WTF, Rob?" points at the same time.
I just showed this to her. I should have taken a photo of the expression on her face.
Heh, nice. Speaking of nerdly things, the URL for schuylersmonsterblog.com only works if you type in the "www" before it. if you just go to schuylersmonsterblog.com, you get a GoDaddy hosting page. It's kind of annoying, and also probably reduces your value to search engines like Google. If you want to fix it so the URL works either way, I think you do it in the GoDaddy Domain Management page by pasting your site's IP address in a second field somewhere. Heh, nice and specific, huh? :)
I'm so glad you posted that! My husband was sleeping when I watched it so I sat laughing my head off alone. I had forgotten to search for it to show to him, then pulled up your page while he was sitting next to me, and TA-DA!
I love Robot Chicken in general (as it slowly destroys my childhood), but this was the first thing they've done that I would call brilliant.
But! I mainly came by to post a link to this shirt. Made me think of you guys... http://www.snorgtees.com/rawrmeansiloveyou-p-622.html?osCsid=fd97cf2cc80be964496fcc13cf857b70
Robot Chicken is great. :D That touched my nerd soul too!
ReplyDeleteWow, that has risen the Trekkie in me to a whole new level...

ReplyDeleteSo glad you liked it! I find "Robot Chicken" mostly disappointing these days, but this one was a standout.
