  4. Happy Birthday, Schuyler! Rob, your title reminds me of a quote I love which makes me think of my son:
"You're what happened when I wished upon a star."

To you and Julie: Happy Anniversary of the day your lives changed and became richer and more complex than ways you ever imagined.

Happy birthday, Schuyler! I hope you get lots of cool stuff! What an adorable baby you were, and what a beautiful young lady you have become. I hope the next time your dad comes to Ohio you get to come with him so I can meet you in person.

(Our friends' twin girls just turned 9 too, and I find it astounding because I am certain they should only be 6.)

    Hi Schuyler and Family-
I met you briefly at the ASHA Convention in Chicago last month. I was honored to receive a copy of your book, as I had read magazine excerpts about it earlier in the year. I made it a personal goal to finish the book on your birthday yesterday, and it was 10:30 last night when I did so...
I hope that you all had a wonderful day spent sharing lovely and loving memories and celebrating that wonderful holiday present that you received years ago: the arrival of Schuyler!
All my best to all of you.

  18. Happy late birthday, Schuyler.

The stars themselves should celebrate your birthday. Your presence here on this lonely earth makes it feel a little less cold.

  21. Schuyler shares the exact same birthday as my son Jack, to the year. I like to think that the reason he was born on that day was because one of the darkest days of the year needed his light.

    Happy Birthday, Schuyler.
