My husband left me two months ago, so today has been something of a struggle to get through.

Schuyler's letter reminds me that there is magic in the world after all, and that even broken hearts can learn to love again.

I love Schuyler. She tries so hard, sometimes without even realizing it. It gives me hope. It inspires me. I wish I had even half the spunky attitude as that one little girl.

Wow- Schuyler just made me believe, too. I am just floored to see all those beautiful, beautiful letters strung together to say exactly what she wants to say.

The world is your oyster, babe.
Merry Christmas to you and yours. Take good care of your parents- they're phenomenal too.

  5. Rob -

First - I am amazed at how well I can read her handwriting. I remember a past post where it was much more difficult. Schuyler is doing well, slaying that monster.

The letter itself put a lump in my throat - in a good sort of way. Merry Christmas to you guys.

  9. I've come back every day this week just to re-read Schuyler's Santa Letter. Her writing is so clear, her sentences lined up so prettily. This photo just somehow made my whole holiday. :) Thank you, Rob, for sharing it with us.

  11. I love seeing the name Schuyler written by a child. I haven't seen that since I grew up.
