Seven! Seven is big--it's huge. As a former 2nd grade teacher, I also happen to think that seven is the best age. Their little brains explode when they're seven and they can do all sorts of things that they couldn't when they were 5 and 6.
Happy happy happy birthday, lovely Schuyler. May the year ahead be filled with color, light, giggles and fun. Can't wait to see what hair colors come with being seven.
Rob and Julie, congrats on that amazing creature--you're doing something right--girl likes a pink electric guitar.
That picture is awesome. What better way to express your thoughts and feelings than through music. Even if she can't speak the words, she can express anger, happiness and confusion all through the melodies of her instrument. Maybe someday there will be some lessons in store for that little girl...
Happy birthday from Connecticut, Schuyler! Alec is seven-and-THREE-QUARTERS and he wants me to tell you that "Seven is the most awesome age, EVER!"
Enjoy it, Julie and Rob. Seven IS the most awesome age, ever. But then, eight is pretty cool, too...and nine has its charms...and you will love ten...!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I didn't know Schuyler was a fellow December baby! My birthday's on the 28th. I wish I'd *ever* looked or been as cool and collected as Schuyler.
P.S. My aged brain forgot to add that Schuyler already has more personality than I ever did at that age. By 7 I was already "that shy, geeky girl in the back of the class." I turned out alright, mind you, but I'm just saying...Schuyler rocks. If she were writing a book instead of you, Rob, I'm sorry but I'd have to buy hers first! ;-)
Happy Birthday to Schuyler! We have a December baby coming next week and one of those Barbie guitars wrapped and waiting for our four-year old to open Monday morning. Have a terrific holiday!
Happy Birthday :)
