  1. Now I've got that running through my head to the tune of "Row, row, row your boat".

I hope that boulder passes soon.

gah. hope you're feeling much better soon.

the pain pills lose their fun value as you have more and more pain, don't they?

BTW - huge thanks to you and Schuyler, my kids chose to dye their hair for halloween (and however long it lasts after that) after seeing her pictures. It's been a lot of fun for all of us.

Hate to say this, but my husband had the same experience about 3 weeks ago-and has yet to pass the stone. He keeps feeling OK, then will have a day when he is back on Dilaudid for a few hours. Fun stuff. And now is being sent for testing to see if he might be diabetic, as it appears his frequent peeing is not the stone at all, but something else. Perhaps he's your evil twin? He especially enjoyed peeing into what I prefer to call "the cone of shame". It's really fun to take to work.

    Feel better soon.

(I'd say something more witty but it would require thinking something more witty--and it's just not happening tonight and I wasn't going to deprive you of good wishes while waiting.)

    oh dude, that really sucks.

i was in the ER w/ kidney stones last year and it's worse than having a baby.

    totally worse.

i'm feeling for you and sorry to hear that it's probably damaged your kidney.

last halloween i was shaving EWSL = shockwave lithotripsy to blast those little stones out. they are much easier to pass that way.

sorry to hear life's been so pissy for you!!!

The only time I've seen my husband vomit, in 12 years, was from the pain associated with a kidney stone. Those things are no joke.
